Needed a cover fabbed up for my motorhome water heater. They did a very nice job of it paying attention to the details. What could have been a real hassle turned out very good and was accurate. Highly recommended. Every bolt hole was spot on !! The exhaust port was perfect. Well done!.” Bob Jones

Artistic, professional, efficient and kind on top of it! Couldn’t say more positive things about this company. Dylan Sehn

I hired these guys to build me a custom fire pit. I gave a rough idea of what I wanted it to look like and they created a specific design that I really liked. Their CNC plasma table allowed for a very intricate design, and the final product is quite beautiful. They even took the old one away for me.Daniel Lidstrom

what kind of metal should I use?

Steel will rust, but it is strong and very heavy. Steel can come bare, or galvanized, which is a zinc coating to protect against rusting out. It is not generally powder coated, but rather painted, as it must be sand blasted before powder coating, which is another expensive step in the process. Steel is generally used for structural members, such as building components, bridges, heavy duty gates, or anything that must be strong, and is not required to be as pretty. Steel will eventually rust from the moisture in the air, or rain and condensation. It will leave trails of rust as the water drains off it and is something to take into consideration.

Aluminum will not rust; however, it is only 1/3 the weight and strength of steel. To accommodate for the lack of strength in comparison, usually anything built with aluminum is built out of thicker material stock. Aluminum can be left bare, as it will not rust and it will, for the most part, always remain a silvery grey color. If this is not to your liking, it can be powder coated any color of your choosing. Aluminum is great for marine work as again; it does not bleed rust on everything. Aluminum is usually used in places where strength isn’t as much of a factor or being used as a “decoration” such as gates, railings, staircases, or signs.

Stainless, as the name suggests, will not rust, and is as heavy is steel is. However, stainless is used differently than steel is. Stainless is used anywhere rust cannot be present, such as kitchens, on boats, in piping assemblies, or in hospitals. Stainless, though heavy, is not usually used with thick sections, usually all stainless components are thin, as stainless isn’t used for its strength, but rather it’s cleanliness. Stainless is generally not powder coated as it has a beautiful finish when fully polished to a mirror finish. However, polishing is an extraordinarily time-consuming process that must be taken into consideration when planning hours for your project.

Will you come to my boat?

We have no problem travelling to work. We will come to any marina your boat is at, any yard your boat is at, or any site needing welding work. However, depending on the location, travel charges may need to apply.
